ZEPS - Evaluation of food and drink quality

The special awards for food and beverages only are introduced and assigned at many exhibitors from nutrition fair block’s request along with recognized acknowledgements in categories “product”, “collection” and “promotion”. Those are the medals of quality named “Golden Rose of ZEPS”, “Silver rose of ZEPS” and “Bronze rose of ZEPS”.

Rank of acknowledgement is determined by special rules and by previous analysis and opinion of Institute for Agricultural and Food Technology of Agricultural Faculty in Sarajevo and by assessment of jury along with obligatory consumers’ tasting.

At exhibitors’ request, the Fair will send propositions and application forms for assessment of product quality to all concerned, but you can also download the application from this page.

According to the interest of exhibitor from nutrition fair block, “roses” which have been awarded so far are good reference to consumers and indicator of quality of the product that won.

AWARDS OF 16TH GENERAL B&H FAIR ZEPS 2009

At 16th General B&H Fair ZEPS 2009 the awards were given to the exhibitors in two categories.

I     AWARDS OF 16TH GENERAL B&H FAIR ZEPS 2009 BY ZEPS JURY DECISION

In the first category (award for product, collection of products and promotion, and the highest acknowledgement “GRAND PRIX ZEPS ROSE”), awards were given by ZEPS’ five-man jury.

All exhibitors except exhibitors from nutrition were in the competition for product and product collection.ZEPS’ jury gave 18 equal awards by unanimous decision: three for product, five for collection of products, three for promotion and one unique award for the performance which marked the fair (GRAND PRIX ZEPS ROSE).

Producers of foodstuffs and beverages were in the competition for the second category of medals of quality “ROSE OF ZEPS” Rank of acknowledgement is determined by special rules and by previous analysis and opinion of Institute for Agricultural and Food Technology of Agricultural Faculty in Sarajevo and by assessment of jury along with obligatory consumers’ tasting.
At 16th General BH Fair ZEPS, 15 producers from BiH, Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia with 67 products classified in several categories, run for the high-ranking acknowledgement, medal for quality “ROSE OF ZEPS”.

Due to world economic crisis, which mostly hit the metal industry, the 6th International Metal Fair ZEPS Intermetal 2009 was held in Zenica from October 6-11, together with 16th General BH Fair ZEPS 2009.
